A serving Victoria Police officer has been charged by the state’s anti-corruption watchdog with assaulting a woman during a raid in 1996.
The charge from the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) comes two years after the woman received compensation and an apology from the force over the incident.
