On 24 March, the UN General Assembly passed its second resolution on Russia’s war with Ukraine.
Its first resolution, condemning Moscow’s aggression, passed with the support of 141 member states on 2 March.
The second text, which again condemned Russia and focused on the humanitarian situation, was tabled by Ukraine and 89 co-sponsors and received a total of 140 positive votes.
