Agora Dialogue cordially invites you to a webinar in memory of the late Professor Speros Vryonis, Jr (1928-2019) THE ‘MECHANISM OF CATASTROPHE’ IN THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN.
The webinar not only marks the 50th anniversary of the publication, in 1971, of The Decline of Medieval Hellenism in Asia Minor.
The webinar also commemorates the victims of genocide in the Eastern Mediterranean and beyond. As such, the webinar has been arranged to take place in April, which is Genocide Awareness and Prevention Month.
