Female victims are people in their own right – not just some man’s wife, mother, sister or daughter

We should care about rape simply insofar as it harms many and various human beings

Australia is currently being rocked by Brittany Higgins’s allegations that she was raped at Parliament House by a male colleague in March 2019.
