‘A state of wonder’: the day our little lion man finally arrived

It’s fair to say that Saroo was a source of surprise and amazement to my husband John and me from the very first night we met him at Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport.

We travelled by taxi to a nearby Travelodge, John and I each holding one of Saroo’s hands as he sat between us.
