Yoshihide Suga appointed Japanese Prime Minister, succeeding Shinzo Abe
Yoshihide Suga has been formally elected Japan's new Prime Minister in a parliamentary vote.
Mr Suga will replace Shinzo Abe, who has resigned because of poor health.
