Defence veterans rate of depression, drug addiction and suicide abnormally high
More than 400 serving, ex-serving and reserve defence Australians have taken their own lives over a 16 year period, averaging out at one death every two weeks.
The grim statistics are part of a new report by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare released on Friday into the wellbeing of serving and former Australian Defence Force members.
