‘This would’ve not happened to a white model’: Akech blasts mag mix-up
Supermodel Adut Akech says Australia “has the most work to do” when it comes to advancing diversity after a magazine published an interview with her but a photo of another model.
Speaking to The Age on Monday, New York-based Akech, whose family lives in Adelaide, said she “needed to publicly address” the error, which was made in the current issue of Who magazine.
