Opera roadshow up the creek, with love
When the opera comes to Tennant Creek, it rolls down the highway on a coach and semi-railer, and plays in a temporary theatre with plastic seats in the Civic Hall.
Saturday night’s performance of Madama Butterfly was presented by Opera Australia’s touring company of 33 — cast, orchestra and crew — en route across northern Australia.
