Dear Prof Maskell,
Following the leadership of RISE: Refugees, Survivors and Ex-detainees, we, the undersigned academics and professional staff, write to strongly encourage the University of Melbourne to divest from Wilson Security.
Wilson Security is currently not only providing security services for the University, but is also one of the primary contractors involved in the running and maintenance of the refugee detention industry.
