Protesters in Adelaide call for Australia to increase intake of Syrian refugees
Hundreds of protesters from South Australia’s Middle Eastern and African communities have called for Australia to take more refugees from war-torn Syria.
A crowd of about 300 men, women and children gathered on the steps of the South Australian Parliament, chanting “down, down, Assad down” and “stop bombing the children of Syria”.
