State ministers may be called to Senate inquiry into Bell ‘deal’
WA’s audacious attempt to leapfrog other creditors in the Bell Group liquidation will be subjected to a Senate inquiry — and Barnett Government ministers Mike Nahan and Michael Mischin will be asked to appear.
Central to the inquiry will be why the State Government was so adamant that it had a deal with the Federal Government not to challenge its controversial Bell legislation when Commonwealth ministers insist that no agreement was struck.
