Investment banking isn’t exactly the most popular profession these days.

Many people haven’t forgiven the financial sector for the 2007-2008 meltdown. Many also resent having bailed out banks with public money, and subsequently watching banking executives be rewarded with healthy bonuses while public sector budgets are being squeezed.
